first day at salvation army today.nerve-wrecking but fulfilling.it wasn't what i pictured it to be, and the kids weren't like how i imagined.they were more matured and they knew more things than i expected.i was quite taken aback by a qn this girl from my group asked me.che asked who's the no.1 person i like in my family and i said both my parents.then she asked me, "why isn't it God?" so the kids are very very observant.
then some of the girls were telling me about their lives and how life was like in the home. apparantly they're really scared of the superintendent and officer there.and some things i heard made me realised how fragile some of their hearts may be.it's during these kind of situations when i realised how we may be living in the same country, but the type of lives we live are totally worlds apart.
i'm really worn out but i still look forward to tmr.haha the kids have their lovable sides!i'm gonna get more rest tonight so i'll be ready to face tmr!and i'm supposed to do the actions for "i love you Jesus"..........with irwin!hahas.
