another one of those nostlagic days...
finally productive studying at beans after such a long time! so many new workers now and they even set an area just for smokers, thank goodness. and yes, it got me thinking back on how we were hardcore muggers 2years ago, slogging away for O's, which now, really is nothing as compared to A's. ohwell, it got me thinking of someone too.
oh yes. why nostalgia? 'twas a normal sunday for me ytd until i decided to pull out those dusty PL yearbks. arh yes, the horrendous (and i really mean horrendous) shorthair we were forced to keep last time, the nerdy fitting belts in sec1 which became looser and looser as we moved up (no we did not grow thinner...) , the morning, no no, the all-day naggings from prefects to "put your belt through the loop". haha what fond memories.
then today's chapel was like a time machine back to a normal saturday morning devotion during gb. "empower me", "power of your love" and "Lord i lift your name on high".... we're so used to singing hillsongs and more hillsongs these days. all these simple songs seem to hold more meaning and truth than the fancy hillsongs. and i thought of the tambourines we used to play along the beat, with everyone singing along, not bothering about what the person around them thought ; the drums that lingji was so brilliant with(haha), and euodia being the only successful successor of it. and the morning rush of the inventory com to set up equipments for us. haha i'd love to see hilda and ahsao doing that again!
and so..... some people just can't get any weirder.. i guess we cannot possibly decipher everyone's thoughts.
