never judge something from its' surface. things and people alike. it's like an onion. many layers..after you peel off the top layer, you wouldnt know whether the layer beneath that is rotten or smooth. and no one's guess is always right. i think alot of us have a habit of assuming things. like how someone's nice, and therefore, when you hear a bad rumour about him, it's totally absurd and unacceptable. no one's perfect, so it's all human nature after all. or from the opposite perspective, all the stuff you heard about this person are negative. so when it passes around that he did something nice, you gawk like mad and take it in with suspicion and doubt.
maybe it's just hearing stuff from people these few days. quite a few issues. shock, doubt and in awe. haha im guilty of assuming many things too. so maybe now i should hear certain stuff with a pinch of salt.
so today when i came back from class dinner, my mom started the whole issue about going out too much and spending alot of money. true enough. i havent had a proper rest at home for quite some time and work starts tmr. out with aloy on thurs, squash with the guys and shanru on fri, zouk on sat night. sunday was church and family dinner. and i finally caught curse of the golden flower with my two cousins after dinner. which i want to say to all who told me it sucks - it's not THATTTT BAD! haha and i'm not talking about jaychou's acting, cause i agree that his expression was pretty stoic throughout the movie. haha. but i thought the way zhang yimou filmed the scene of the grand army or the whole land of chrysanthemums were quite breath-taking. haha then again, maybe it's just cause i like chinese movies like these.
and today i met christine before class dinner. finally after eonnns! 'twas great seeing her and catching up. after meeting the class and the girls today then i realised i've been missing out on quite alot of stuff. like pam's ernest etc. sorry! im glad we're meeting on friday again(: and it was queer that i bumped into more familiar faces at raffles instead of town! met ter, bryan, fu kai, jocelyn and winnie, and deepa and grace.
anyway, to menghui and irwina! haha tekong will be damnnn "fun"! (:
